Centre For Management Development and Institute of Rural Management Anand’s will jointly offer Rural and Co-operative Management Training and Capacity Building in Kerala

Centre For Management Development and Institute of Rural Management Anand’s collaborative efforts in Rural and Cooperative Management aim to create a supportive ecosystem in the state for rural and co-operative sectors. CMD officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IRMA in a momentous event that marks a significant milestone in its commitment to management development and knowledge exchange. The MoU signing ceremony was held at IRMA, Gujarat on 21st June, 2023 which was attended by Shri. Umakanth Dash, Director of IRMA and Shri. CA. Dr. Binoy J Kattadiyil, Director of CMD along with faculty members of both organisations. The partnership aims to leverage their collective expertise to drive positive change in the state.
Recognizing the significance of management development especially in the field of rural and cooperative sectors, CMD and IRMA will jointly design and disseminate Management Development Programmes tailored to officials and functionaries of rural development and co-operative management sectors. The MoU encompasses a wide range of collaborative activities including the exchange and sharing of faculty members and scholars, fostering capacity building and training workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development. Additionally, the partnership will explore joint research opportunities in the areas of value chain studies, project implementation, and policy development, with a focus on action-oriented and problem-solving projects to drive sustainable development.
The combined strengths of these esteemed institutions are expected to yield transformative results, making a positive impact on rural and co-operative sectors and contributing to the sustainable growth of the country.
