Dr. Arundhathi Chandran is a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Management Development, Government of Kerala, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and Labour Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Dr. Chandran has served as a DAAD Fellow at the University of Göttingen, Germany, and as Principal Investigator for collaborative research projects with Harvard University. She is also actively co-guiding Ph.D. scholars in management and social development research. She has led and contributed to several policy-oriented research and development initiatives, particularly focusing on gender-responsive development, tribal empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods. She has also served as a Resource Person for various sessions on women’s career advancement, mental health and wellness, and professional social work. She has presented her work at national and international academic and practitioner forums, reflecting her commitment to knowledge dissemination and capacity building.

Ananthu B. L. is a Research Executive at the Centre for Management Development, Government of Kerala. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from Loyola College of Social Sciences, Thiruvananthapuram, and a Post graduate Diploma in Community Mental Health from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. He has been engaged in social research, program implementation, and policy analysis focusing on inclusive education, disability empowerment, and sustainable community development. His work extends to livelihood generation initiatives for tribal communities and various social inclusion programs that enhance access, participation, and equity among marginalized populations. He integrates technology and artificial intelligence into development practice to strengthen evidence-based interventions and policy innovation, emphasizing participatory development, capacity building, and community-centered planning.

Amina is a Research Executive at the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Government of Kerala. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, where she graduated with First Class with Distinction. With a multidisciplinary background blending Civil engineering and Environmental Sciences, she has been actively involved in the development and implementation of projects across sectors such as tribal welfare, climate action, disability inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods. Her professional expertise spans climate change modelling, environmental impact assessment (EIA), ESG integration, and preparation of detailed project reports (DPRs) for development projects. At CMD, Amina contributes to project proposal development, technical documentation, field coordination, and monitoring of sustainability-oriented interventions. She has earlier served with the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala, providing enterprise development support to emerging entrepreneurs, and with the National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), where she worked on flood forecasting models and hydrological process studies. Her prior work with the Trivandrum Corporation and Siddharth Foundation, Coimbatore, further enriched her experience in environmental planning, disaster management, and implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP). Amina has undertaken multiple academic and applied projects, including flood analysis modelling using ArcSWAT for Western Ghats river systems, municipal solid waste characterization for Waste-to-Energy projects, and comparative studies on sustainable waste management and road construction materials. She is also a frequent contributor to science and environmental magazines, writing on issues related to sustainability, environmental policy, and climate resilience.
