Greetings from the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Thiruvananthapuram.
As part of our Monthly Talk Series, we are pleased to invite you to an awareness session focusing on online fraud, digital safety practices, and legal awareness in today’s rapidly evolving digital environment.
The series is open to students, professionals, community members, residents’ associations, pensioners’ groups, and all those interested in strengthening their awareness and confidence in using digital and financial platforms safely.
Session Focus
The forthcoming session will explore the theme:
“Understanding Online Fraud: Behaviour, Technology and Legal Awareness.”
With increasing dependence on digital platforms for communication, services, and financial transactions, awareness about online safety has become essential. This session aims to provide practical insights into common online fraud methods, behavioural aspects that influence cybercrime, and the legal safeguards available to users.
The session will focus on:
- Understanding common types of online and financial fraud
- Safe practices for digital and financial transactions
- Behavioural awareness in preventing cyber risks
- Basic legal awareness and reporting mechanisms
