CMD Monthly Talk Series
Integration of Environment, People & Technology in Development
Lessons from Kattakada
Greetings from the Centre for Management Development (CMD), Thiruvananthapuram.
As part of our Monthly Talk Series, we are pleased to invite you to an insightful session focusing on development, governance, and social change.
The series is open to a general audience, including public and private sector professionals, government officials, academicians, researchers, students, and young adults interested in contemporary development challenges.
Session Focus
The upcoming session will focus on “Integration of Environment, People & Technology in Development – Lessons from Kattakada.”
As development initiatives increasingly rely on technology, it is essential to ensure that environmental sustainability and community participation remain at the centre of planning and execution. This session will explore how development can be both people-centric and environmentally responsible, drawing lessons from the Kattakada constituency as a practical example of integrating local communities, ecological concerns, and technology for long-term impact.
Through the Monthly Talk Series, CMD seeks to promote informed public discourse, encourage critical reflection, and share learnings from successful development models.
