7th V. Ramachandran Memorial Lecture

The Centre for Management Development (CMD) is pleased to announce the
7th V. Ramachandran Memorial Lecture, held in honour of our esteemed former Chairman,
the late Shri V. Ramachandran, whose contributions to governance and public administration
continue to guide and inspire our institution.

This year’s memorial lecture will be delivered by
Shri T. R. Raghunandan, former IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre and a national authority
in decentralised governance, transparency systems, and institutional reform. His extensive experience and
commitment to grassroots empowerment bring unmatched insight to this year’s discussion.

The lecture will explore the theme
“Democratic Decentralisation in India, at the Crossroads”, examining the challenges, opportunities,
and evolving policy landscape of decentralisation in the country.
